I continue to read and subscribe to the Weekly Hurdle because it inspires me to either try something new (like a podcase or gear) and/or to think about something in a new way. It provides ideas for ways that I can continue to achieve my goals and live my life to the fullest despite any challenges that arise. I look forward to a new post each week!

I love Hurdle in all forms - but Fridays are my favorite because I get 5 minute Friday AND the newsletter! Emily, I am consistently inspired by your discipline, and lately, have been extra motivated by your positive and optimistic but not forced outlook on life -- your gratefulness for all these things you've worked so hard for, your progress with pull ups, your dedication to your morning routine, your efforts in your social life, your consistency with your early bedtime... The list goes on!

I keep reading it because it (1) feels like an additional 5 min Friday bonus content and (2) feels like I’m catching up with a friend over coffee!

The weekly hurdle newsletter is an indicator that I’ve made it to the end of the week and acts as a bit of a “switch” in my brain to wind down from work and focus on me myself and my “life outside work”. I’ve been trying to spend more time on Substack and less on mindless scrolling on other apps so building a list of newsletters to follow is a new passion. Thanks for the quick hits, favorite quotes, and suggestions on all things health and wellness. Thank you Emily!!

I love reading the Weekly Hurdle! It's a great way to close the week, and Emily always provides a reflection that I can relate to and wonderful tips and motivation that I can easily integrate into my daily life. I also love the highlights of the week, especially the podcast. I have been introduced to other podcasts this way, and it has been worth it. Also, the gear recommendations help me to add more items to the workout clothes rotation. Overall, a great newsletter to motivate me to try new things!

It’s my favorite Friday morning routine - weekly hurdle followed by 5 minute Friday! It’s like getting an email from an old friend who is checking in on you and catching you up on their life while inspiring you and making you feel seen - who doesn’t love that?! 💕
