Lately, I've been struggling with the fact that I'm aging. I'm only 30, but in terms of my physical body, I feel older than my age. Some days, everything hurts, and then some days I can run 6 miles and then do several trips up and down to my laundry room. I'm working on losing weight, but something new that I struggle with is that my body has become resistant to it so I'm navigating changes that I need to make to inspire my body to want to lose weight. So, I instituted a few positive changes into my routine to try and make this happen. I'm taking different vitamins (and taking them more regularly), I'm drinking a healthy amount of water, taking walks where I can, allowing my body to rest when it needs, and I bought a standing desk riser for my computer monitor to prevent swelling in my legs when I sit and write for hours at a time. So far, so good. But I'm going to have to continue to find ways to manage stress in order to reach my goals.
